Digital Imaging
File Preparation & Retouching Services
$90 per hour; charged in 5 minute increments (minimum charge 5 mins / $7.50)
These services are conducted via email, with additional telephone consultation if requested. They can also be performed in-person as part of a screen-based consult.
Our digital imaging services include, but are not limited to:
- Print-ready file setup: resizing, straightening, cropping, adding borders to your image
- Retouching: image enhancement, background tone/texture removal, dust & scratch removal, output adjustments for optimal print results
- Image enlargements: Non-destructive image resampling/enlarging
- Colour correction: Colour cast corrections and colour balancing, correction of chromatic aberration and banding
- Compositing: Merging/stitching of files captured in sections, to create a complete image
- Digital editioning: adding your signature to your print files, eliminating the need for hand signing.
As a guide, simple file setup (such as image sizing and border additions) generally takes 5 minutes per file. More complex tasks will take longer. For an estimate, please fill out our quote request form with your requirements,
